Today is 16th October 2007; it’s almost the end of first semester in NCST. It’s around two and a half months past since I joined this institution for pursuing advance software course. I confess that before joining this institution I didn’t had much idea about what exactly the institutions is or what the course is and I did joined this course because I didn’t had any other choice of what I am going to do after my graduation I didn’t had any job as I lacked the basic criteria of IT companies of sixty percent in my B.Tech (I used to be an above average student during school times but somehow in engineering I was among the weakest student of the college.) So as I told I didn’t have much idea about the course and institution I joined the course because I joined it as I heard that there are almost hundred percent placements there but at the same time I was told that the course is tuff too. Never mind this was the only choice I was left with or the worst option was I should go to Bangalore and search for the job there but I didn’t preferred it.
Now here I am in NCST since last two and a half months and when I look back since when I joined the institution I feel that I have learnt a lot since the first day. Really this place is not just another computer course or training institute making profits of the fees. This place is different the people working over here that is the one doing research and teaching are very much talented and knowledgeable in every field. They seem to have wealth of knowledge and are always performing their duties sincerely. In NCST a lot of attention is paid on the students. We are made to code more and more so as to excel in this field. Student is made to emphasize more on the logical part of the problem. Here the basic part is the practical implementation of the problem. The assignment and exams are such that one has to really use his brain to solve the problem. During the projects time we are really made to work hard to complete it. The teachers here are smart enough to judge if the person has worked hard on his work or not.
Thus I really feel proud that I am part of this institution where everybody is talented and hardworking and I wish to be someday like them.
